On June 14, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang concluded a working session with businesses and investors to remove difficulties and obstacles and accelerate the progress of project implementation in the area.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang seriously criticized some businesses and investors for not attending the meeting and not reporting the reasons for absence.
At the same time, he assigned the Department of Finance to statistically record absences to have written reminders and corrections. Request investors to fully attend working sessions organized by the province to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles and accelerate project progress.
Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang emphasized that projects facing difficulties but investors who do not participate in working or report will have to take responsibility themselves. In case of delays, functional agencies must strictly handle them according to regulations.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested businesses to focus resources to accelerate investment progress, and soon complete procedures on planning, land, construction, environment, fire prevention and fighting and related procedures before deploying construction.
For projects that are behind schedule or do not ensure the registered commitments, investors must develop specific remedial plans. If they continue to be delayed and there is no clear change, they will be considered for revocation or termination of operations according to regulations.
For projects that are facing site clearance issues, provincial leaders request localities to urgently remove obstacles to ensure investment progress.
