Some prominent cases were discovered such as: trading coffee powder without caffeine content in products in Ayun Pa ward, which has now been transferred to procedural agencies for consideration and criminal handling; 2 establishments in An Nhon Nam ward trading more than 4 tons of pork and pork fat of various types of unknown origin, without slaughtering control stamps and legal documents attached; 1 establishment in Hoai An commune trading 100 tons of piglets, roasted pigs of unknown origin, with a value of more than 18.3 billion VND.
In addition, the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Sub-Department also coordinates with the police force to receive and handle administrative violations in the field of food safety, with a total fine of over 100 million VND.
Deploying tasks during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Sub-Department has discovered and temporarily seized many cakes, candies, dried seeds and frozen food products serving Tet needs. The cases are currently being appraised, verified and handled in accordance with the law.
