On September 16, according to information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department, Dong Nai City Police, at about 2 am on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 12 coordinated with local forces to thoroughly handle oil spills, returning the road surface to safety for people to travel.

Previously, at 10 pm on September 15, receiving a report from the Bu Dang area Traffic Police Team about a serious collision between a tractor-trailer with license plate 50E-911. xx pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 51R-271. xx colliding with a tractor-trailer with license plate 61H050.09 pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 51R-158. xx at Km 977+100 National Highway 14 (Bu Dang commune, Dong Nai city), causing 1 victim to be trapped in the cabin of the vehicle.
Ordered to be mobilized by the unit's leader, the Team quickly dispatched 1 ambulance, 1 vehicle carrying rescue equipment, 1 fire truck and 12 officers and soldiers to perform their duties. When they arrived, the victim was taken out by the traffic police force and Bu Dang Commune Police on patrol and taken to the emergency room.

At the scene, it was raining heavily, the hydraulic oil of the trailer truck with a crane was flowing, making the road surface slippery and dangerous. While the soldiers were trying to spread sand to fix the problem, a 36-berth passenger car with license plate 51B -171xx (Ho Chi Minh City - Dak Lak route) due to limited visibility suddenly lost control and overturned into a drainage ditch about 20m away. Dozens of passengers inside were panicked.
Officers and soldiers of the Team and local forces immediately deployed a rescue formation, all 17 passengers and 2 drivers were rescued safely.
Immediately after that, officers and soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 12 continued to coordinate with local forces to handle the oil spill under the rain, and by about 2 am on September 16, the oil spills had been thoroughly treated, returning the road surface to safety for people to travel.
