On September 5, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Dong Nai Provincial Police, rescued a victim who fell into a well deeper than 20 meters to a safe area and took him to the emergency room.
At 5:40 p.m. on September 4, the fire fighting and rescue forces in Binh Phuoc area received a report that someone had fallen into a dry well more than 20 meters deep, in Dong Tien 6 hamlet, Dong Tam commune, Dong Nai province, about 20km from where the unit was stationed.
The victim was Mr. B.V.V (60 years old, residing in Dong Tien 6 Hamlet, Dong Tam Commune).
Immediately after receiving the news, the rescue team dispatched a rescue vehicle and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene.
Rescue forces were present at the scene at 6:10 p.m. and quickly deployed search and rescue work.
Assessing that the victim was still alive, the rescue and relief forces had cordoned off the work area and released oxygen bottles to support the victim's breathing under the well, and assigned officers and equipment to go down to the well to bring the victim to a safe area.
The victim was taken out of the well at 6:15 p.m. and given first aid before being quickly taken to the nearest medical center with his family.
