Achieve Plan
In 2025, it is estimated that the whole province will create jobs for 35,120 workers, equivalent to 103% of the set target.
This result comes from the synchronous implementation of many solutions, such as strengthening support for loans to solve employment problems, expanding consulting and job introduction activities, organizing job transaction sessions, and promoting sending workers to work abroad in high-income and relatively safe markets.
At the two Job Service Centers under the Department, in 2025, 100 job transaction sessions were organized, attracting more than 500 businesses to participate in recruitment, and nearly 29,000 workers were consulted on labor market information and employment policies and laws.
Although the number of jobs resolved reached and exceeded the plan, the Department of Home Affairs also frankly pointed out many shortcomings. The labor market forecasting work is not really effective, leading to certain difficulties in building employment policies suitable to the actual needs of businesses and workers.
The situation of illegal workers leaving the country and not complying with labor contracts abroad still occurs. Some organizations and individuals do not have sufficient legal functions but still participate in brokerage and illegal fee collection, posing great risks for workers.
Loan support activities to solve employment, maintain and expand employment have not met the development needs of production and business of workers.
Switching from quantity to quality
These issues raise questions about the quality and stability of jobs being solved, not just stopping at "enough targets".
The Department of Home Affairs proposed that in the coming time, the province should focus on improving the quality of employment through supporting businesses, production and business establishments, and workers to expand production, innovate technology, and create more jobs with stable incomes. At the same time, promote support for startups for young people, women, and returning workers after working abroad.
The completion of the labor database, strengthening supply-demand connections, along with strict inspection and supervision of labor law compliance at enterprises is identified as a key solution to ensure job creation associated with sustainable social security.
Completing targets is a necessary condition, but ensuring stable, safe jobs and insurance is a sufficient condition for workers to truly feel secure in sticking with the labor market.
