On November 16, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City issued a response on the comments portal on repairing the damage at the Nguyen Tat Thanh and Nguyen Sinh Sac intersections, Hoa Khanh Ward.
Accordingly, the Department of Construction has assigned the Infrastructure Maintenance Board to inspect and handle the matter. The representative of the Infrastructure Maintenance Board informed that the project to repair Nguyen Sinh Sac Street, near the intersection of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, has been completed before September 30, 2025.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, on November 22, at the intersection between Nguyen Tat Thanh and Nguyen Sinh Sac, through Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang city, the road surface appeared densely populated with potholes, many deep subsidence points and serious peeling.
Local people also reported that when it rains, water accumulates in large puddles covering the road surface, making it difficult for vehicles to participate in traffic.
However, the damage scope according to people's reflection is outside the scope of this project.
Due to the impact of storm No. 12 (FENGSHEN), storm No. 13 and heavy rain caused from October 23, 2025, the road surface of the Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Sinh Sac intersection was severely damaged, causing many large potholes, affecting vehicles traveling through the intersection and causing traffic insecurity.
In the immediate future, the Maintenance Board has coordinated with Cau Duong Joint Stock Company to temporarily handle the situation to ensure traffic safety. At the same time, the Maintenance Board has coordinated with relevant units to inspect and confirm the volume and cost of damage, design and repair solutions and has reported to the Department of Construction and the City People's Committee to put them into the storm and flood recovery project in 2025.
