On January 10, information from the People's Committee of Na Ngoi commune (Nghe An) said that Mr. Ha Giong Xenh (born 1970, residing in Phu Quac 2 village) voluntarily handed over a chicken with gold cash to the Police of Na Ngoi commune.
Previously, in the process of propaganda and dissemination of laws on wildlife protection, Na Ngoi Commune Police were proactively handed over by Mr. Xenh the golden cash chicken that he was raising. This is a endangered, precious, and rare animal belonging to Group IB, a group that is prioritized for strict protection according to the provisions of law.

After receiving it, Na Ngoi Commune Police coordinated with the forest rangers and handed over the chicken to Pu Mat National Park for care, management and conservation according to professional procedures.
Golden cash chicken (scientific name Polyplectron bicalcaratum) is a rare forest animal belonging to Group IB. This species is currently threatened by illegal hunting and trading. All acts of hunting, raising, transporting or trading this chicken species are strictly prohibited and will be handled according to the provisions of law.
Mr. Xenh's voluntary handover of golden cash chickens is not only an active action to protect wildlife but also a testament to the change in community awareness about the importance of conservation of endangered and rare animals.
