Overcoming difficulties to teach vocational skills to people
Mr. Vo Thanh Huong - an officer of the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of M'Drak district shared that currently, the vocational training program for rural workers has not been widely disseminated to all areas.
In particular, the effectiveness of vocational training for rural workers is uneven among communes in the district. Many subjects are not really interested in participating in vocational training...
According to Mr. Huong, in recent times, in difficult circumstances, permanent and contract teachers have made many efforts to teach vocational skills to people, especially those in difficult circumstances.
Because the roads in the rural areas of M'Drak district are mountainous, remote and dangerous, teachers still go to the facilities to provide vocational training to students.
"In response to the teachers' affection and sense of responsibility, many students who are ethnic minorities also constantly try to study. After graduating, they have found suitable jobs or created jobs for themselves. Through that, they have gradually improved their lives" - Mr. Huong shared more.
Similarly, in the past, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Sang (a contract sewing teacher in Krong Nang district) has also made great efforts to successfully carry out sewing training for dozens of students in Ea Ho commune.
Here, due to the lack of classrooms, the Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center of Krong Nang district had to borrow a school in Ea Ho commune to open 2 sewing training classes.
Teaching in a temporary facility, Ms. Sang is not discouraged but still very dedicated to improving the quality of training, increasing the ability to absorb and access professional skills for students.
There were even times when Ms. Sang taught longer than the scheduled time to impart additional skills to students who were not yet proficient.
"My most important goal when accepting the teaching contract is that 100% of students will graduate from the vocational training course. After that, they can find suitable jobs on their own, improve their income, and escape poverty sustainably," Ms. Sang expressed.
Developing a highly skilled workforce

Besides, the authorities also face difficulties in recruiting and training primary vocational workers.
The number of workers participating in vocational training at vocational education - continuing education centers of districts, towns and cities is still small...
The leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Lak province emphasized that in recent times, departments, branches and localities in the province have proactively coordinated to implement solutions with the active participation of businesses inside and outside the province...
The purpose of this is to promote and enhance job creation activities and support vocational training for workers, especially in rural areas.
According to the leader of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dak Lak province, in the period of 2021 - 2025, the whole province has made efforts to provide vocational training for about 221,000 workers.
