Sowing green seeds in the Truong Sa sea

NGUYỄN TRƯỜNG |

In early July 2026, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters and Working Group No. 19 visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and people in Truong Sa Special Zone (Khanh Hoa province). In the midst of sunny and windy seas, where the weather is harsh all year round, soldiers and people on the islands still firmly hold their guns day and night to protect the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland, and at the same time enthusiastically work and increase production to improve their lives.

On the islands, besides square banyan trees, storm trees, mangrove trees, casuarina trees and coconut trees stretching out against waves and winds, lush green vegetable gardens that officers, soldiers and people have painstakingly cultivated have covered many vacant lands. Each vegetable bed, each sprout not only contributes to ensuring daily food sources but also brings the green color of life, affirming the will to stick to the island, build and protect Truong Sa.

Để có được những vườn rau xanh tốt, quân và dân trên đảo sử dụng hệ thống nhà che chắn gió, cọc lưới và giải pháp tưới tiết kiệm nước ngọt để bảo vệ cây non.
