On the morning of July 22, the functional forces of Hai Duong ward (Hai Phong city) were present at Kim Lai fishing village, outside the Thai Binh river dike, to mobilize and support people to move to a safe place, to avoid the impact of storm No. 3 - Wipha.
At this time, the wind on the river is blowing strongly in waves, the waves are rising. The police, military, militia and residential area officers were divided into small groups, arriving at the location to persuade and support the evacuation of people and necessary property. The ward also arranged temporary shelters, ensuring essential conditions such as electricity, water, accommodation and logistics for fishing village residents.

Previously, from the evening of July 21, many wards in Hai Phong City organized inspections and reviews of high-risk areas, proactively evacuating people to safe places.
In Le Thanh Nghi ward, the local government has mobilized forces to support households living near the riverbank and temporary houses along the lake to move their belongings, and at the same time prepared food and accommodation to welcome people to avoid the storm. 24/7 on-duty is also maintained all night in many wards, especially areas with weak houses, temporary houses, near rivers or along the coast.
The work of mobilizing, inspecting, and supporting people's relocation will continue to be implemented urgently and seriously by localities until the storm subsides, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
