Connecting the Waves at Flood and Storm Hotspots
In the formation of mobile forces to the heavily affected areas, the 575 Brigade Information Corps was always the first to arrive.
Regardless of the landslide site, storm center or flooded area, the Information Corps still persistently stays, ensuring smooth communication to serve the command and operation of the Military Region Commander.
At the same time, restore the communication network to help Party committees, authorities and people in isolated areas.
In many hot spots, the image of soldiers wearing only thin raincoats, in addition to the new generation VSAT equipment, persistently "catching" satellite signals in the white rain has become a spiritual support for the people.
In the case of moderate rain, waves, humid equipment, umbrellas and tarpaulins cannot be used because they affect the quality of wave collection.
However, after a short time, the signal was still established, reopening an important information line between the scene and the Command Department.
Lieutenant Phan Huy Dat, Lieutenant Captain of Platoon 20 (Group 9), instructed the team to operate: When the device receives the signal, adjusting the angles of the position, the angles of the forearms and the angles of the poles is a decisive factor to improve communication quality.
This is an extremely important requirement, especially in the task of independent mobility, natural disaster response, and search and rescue".

From the end of October until now, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thanh Binh - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Brigade; Captain Vo Thanh Cong - Company Commander of Company 7 (Brigade 3); Lieutenant Phan Huy Dat and dozens of officers, soldiers and mobile platoon groups, VSAT vehicles, VSAT equipment are continuously present in dangerous areas.
From the Tra Leng landslide area, the center of storm No. 13 in Dak Lak to Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa... where the information was broken, there were the footprints of the "Seven-fifth-year" soldiers.
Directly commanding the pick-up of signals on VSAT vehicles, Captain Vo Thanh Cong said: The device is responsible for ensuring fixed and mobile communication for leaders and commanders at all levels.
Especially effective in remote areas, where there is no signal or limited information infrastructure, ensuring timely, accurate and safe voice, data and television transmission".
Keeping information smoothly - keeping people's hearts stable
Not only taking on communication tasks, but also places where the Information Corps deployed, the image of the soldier of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" became more familiar.
At Do Nhu Dat School (Dong Hoa Ward, Dak Lak), dozens of officers and soldiers were dressed up in the rain to clean up trash, wash mud, clean facilities and classrooms, helping the school soon stabilize teaching and learning after the water receded.
Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thanh Binh shared: "There are places where floods are heavy, landslides are cut off, and the roads to the area are completely destroyed. We closely coordinate with other units, especially the road opening force.

Wherever the route is open, mobile, regardless of time and weather to promptly restore the information network to serve the command and operation of the Command and meet the requirements of the government and the people".
Amidst the sea of white water, the most dangerous place, the soldiers of the 575 Brigade still quietly stayed. They have made an important contribution to maintaining information - maintaining people's hearts throughout the historic flood period in the Central region.
