The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area drops below level 6 (under 39 km/h).
It is forecasted that the low pressure area will continue to move mainly in the West Northwest direction, weakening and gradually dissipating. The situation of heavy rain in the North and Thanh Hoa is still complicated, it is necessary to pay attention to the forecasts of the next heavy rain.

Total rainfall in the northern area of Hanoi (Me Linh, Soc Son, Dong Anh...) is generally 50 - 100 mm, some places are higher than 150 mm; the central area is generally 40 - 70 mm, some places are higher than 120 mm; the South and the West (Chuong My, Phu Xuyen, My Duc...) are generally 30 - 60 mm, some places are over 100 mm. The Northern Hydrometeorological Station warns: During thunderstorms, there may be tornadoes, lightning, strong gusts of wind causing trees to fall, damaging houses and traffic works; heavy rain in a short time can overload the urban drainage system, flood, traffic jams and the risk of landslides in mountainous areas.
In terms of hydrology, the water level of the Bui and Tich rivers is decreasing slowly but is still at a high level. At 1:00 p.m. on October 6, the water level of the Bui River at Yen Duyet station was 6.73 m (0.23 m above alert level II); the Tich River at Vinh Phuc station was 7.75 m (0.25 m below alert level III). From October 7, floods on the Bui and Tich rivers are likely to rise again but are still below alert level III.
The water level of rivers continues to be high, causing flooding in low-lying areas, floating areas, and riverbanks with a flooding depth of 0.2 - 0.5 m, in some places over 0.5 m; the flooding time can last 2 - 3 days. People need to be on guard against landslides, riverbank erosion, unsafe dykes, affecting residential areas, traffic, aquaculture and agricultural production.
