The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the project to invest in the construction of a wastewater collection system and treatment plant in Son Tay town.
According to the decision, the project's goal is to build a wastewater treatment system for 7/15 inner-city wards of Son Tay town, synchronously about 400 hectares.
The project includes a network of main sewers, spillways, sewers, and centralized wastewater treatment stations as a basis for building a completely separate wastewater drainage system, and after-treatment wastewater meets permitted standards before being discharged into the environment. Ensure the development capacity, expand the connection of the drainage system of Son Tay basin according to the Hanoi drainage plan to 2030 and vision to 2050.
The City People's Committee assigned the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Technical Infrastructure and Agriculture as the investor with a total investment of nearly 501 billion VND, implemented in 2024 - 2027. The project is a technical infrastructure project of Group B, level II and the term of use is not less than 50 years.
The investor is responsible before the law for the accuracy of the volume and funding; results of structural calculation and legality of the dossier submitted to the approval; The capacity of organizations and individuals conducting surveys and projects. At the same time, responsible for researching and reviewing regional technical infrastructure systems, updating the technical infrastructure connection plan to ensure thrift, efficiency and optimal economic - technical optimization, ensuring synchronous operation of technical infrastructure inside and outside the project.
