The Office of the City People's Committee has just issued Official Letter No. 14141/VP-NNMT dated September 9, 2025, announcing the direction of Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen on the situation of flooding, unsafe dams, and landslides after storm No. 5 Kajiki in Suoi Hai commune.
Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction, Song Tich Irrigation Company Limited and relevant agencies and units to review the content of the report of the People's Committee of Suoi Hai commune; organize inspections and assessments of the current status of areas with incidents; proactively deploy temporary handling measures, promptly fix the incident, ensure absolute safety of people's lives and property.
At the same time, it proposed a long-term solution and investment solutions to prevent recurrence of incidents in the following years. Report to the City People's Committee before September 20.
Assign the People's Committee of Suoi Hai commune to continue to seriously implement the "4 on-site" plan; mobilize forces to patrol, guard, and put up warning signs at vulnerable locations; proactively monitor, update incident developments and promptly report to the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
