According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, due to the impact of storm No. 5 Kajiki, Hanoi continuously had heavy rain from August 25 to the morning of August 26.
Prolonged heavy rain caused a series of deep flooding points in the capital such as roads in Van Phu urban area, Kien Hung ward, the area at the intersection of Thang Long Avenue and Ring Road 3... The water was over half a wheel, causing many vehicles to stall and have to move.
Ms. Hoa (in Van Phu Urban Area) said that she got out to get a car to go to work but her apartment was flooded.
"I didn't dare to go to work because the flood was so deep. Some vehicles have just moved a section and have stalled" - Ms. Hoa said.

Heavy rain caused water stagnation in many sections of the elevated Ring Road 3, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
