Hanoi Department of Construction has just approved a traffic organization plan on Nguyen Trai street, Thanh Xuan ward, to serve the construction of Ring Road 2.5 project.
According to the plan, the contractor will connect the D1000 drainage system to intersection roads. The construction site is deployed in a rolling manner, each fixed barrier section is about 40m long.
The remaining 15m wide road surface is maintained for vehicles to circulate.
Barriers in 3 phases: In phase 1, the construction unit barricaded 2 lanes of road close to the right sidewalk on Nguyen Trai street in the direction of Ha Dong.
In phase 2, the scope of barriers is moved to lanes 3 and 4, close to the edge of the right sidewalk in the direction of Ha Dong. The vehicle lane is 15m wide, including 8m close to the median strip and 7m close to the sidewalk.
In phase 3, the contractor will barricade lanes 5 and 6, close to the median strip of Nguyen Trai street in the direction of Ha Dong.
After completing each section, the contractor must dismantle the barriers and restore the road surface to its original state before moving to the next construction location.
In order to limit the impact on traffic, vehicles serving construction are only allowed to operate outside the barrier area from 10 pm the previous day to 5 am the next morning.
Before 5 am every day, all machinery and vehicles must be brought to gather within the barrier area.
On holidays, Tet, during festivals or when there is a sudden request from functional agencies, the investor must direct the contractor to clear the construction site, machinery, equipment and immediately restore traffic infrastructure.
In the construction area, the contractor must arrange fences, reflective wires, warning lights, speed limit signs and sign I.441 from a distance of 200m, 100m and 50m from the construction site.
Relevant units are required to coordinate with traffic police and local authorities to guide vehicles, warn traffic participants and handle arising situations.
The Hanoi Department of Construction assigned the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to be responsible for ensuring traffic safety and controlling vehicles serving construction.
The Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board, Hanoi City Technical Infrastructure Management Center and specialized departments coordinate to inspect and supervise the construction site, protect traffic infrastructure structures and receive land handover after completion.
Traffic Police and Hanoi City Police coordinate to organize traffic diversion, regulate traffic and handle cases of violations of traffic order and safety regulations.
The rolling construction and restoration of the road surface after each section is to ensure project progress and maintain traffic on Nguyen Trai street during the construction period.
