"People really hope the project will be completed soon so that travel is more convenient and safer," Mr. Hai said.
According to Mr. Le Anh Dung - Head of Phu Nghia Commune Economic Department, the project passes through the commune with a length of about 7.8km. To serve construction, the locality must recover 1,444 land plots with a total area of 32.34ha.
As of the end of February 23, the commune has recovered and handed over to investors 298 land plots, with an area of 19.85ha; including 64 public land plots (13.42ha) and 234 agricultural land plots (6.43ha). Thus, there are still 1,446 land plots with a total area of 12.49ha that need to continue site clearance.
According to the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the entire project site clearance work must be completed before June 30, 2026. This means that in the next 4 months, the volume of more than 1,100 remaining land plots must be completely handled, the progress is calculated in detail by week, by stage, without delay at any stage.
Immediately after operating the two-level local government model, Phu Nghia commune established a Land Clearance Steering Committee and working groups to propagate, mobilize, and mobilize the entire political system to participate.
Identifying site clearance for National Highway 6 as the key task for 2026, right on the first official working day of the Binh Ngo year, the Phu Nghia Commune Site Clearance Steering Committee worked with the investor to review the progress and specifically review each part of the work.
According to Mr. Trinh Tien Tuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Nghia commune, the project is of particular importance to the socio-economic development of the locality. Although the workload is still large, the commune is determined to complete it in accordance with requirements and deadlines assigned by the Hanoi City People's Committee.
According to the plan, the work of confirming the origin of land and related population must be completed before March 31 to serve as a basis for preparing a compensation plan. The completion of the compensation and support plan is expected to be completed before April 15; organize payment and handover of land from April 15 to May 15. For some key sections, the commune sets a goal to complete them completely before March 25 to create continuous route sections, meeting the conditions for handover to synchronous construction contractors. After May 15, cases of non-compliance will be handled according to regulations.

Along with accelerating site clearance, leaders of Phu Nghia commune also requested the investor to direct contractors to mobilize maximum manpower and vehicles to immediately construct the sections that have been handed over, avoiding the situation of having land but deploying at a snail's pace.
Early site handover is identified as a key factor for the project to reach the finish line soon. With a specific roadmap and clearly assigned responsibilities, Phu Nghia commune is gradually "counting down" to the goal of completing site clearance before June 30, 2026, leaving no room for hesitation or delay.
