Many public spaces "transform"
In recent years, the appearance of Hanoi's urban area has changed significantly. Contributing to this positive transformation is Program No. 03-CTr/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee on " Urban beautification, urban development and urban economy for the period 2021-2025". According to the reporter's records, in the city, a series of parks and flower gardens are under construction and renovation.
In Nghia Do ward, Nghia Do park is in the rush to complete the final items. Previously, despite being an important green lung in the area, some items in the park showed signs of deterioration. Currently, the construction site is very bustling, items such as a walking path along the lake, a landscape bridge, a children's playground, a solar lighting system and security surveillance cameras are gradually taking shape.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Hai, a resident of Nghia Do ward, could not hide his joy and expectations.
"Activities like this to renovate the park bring direct benefits to the people, helping to improve material and spiritual life. We clearly see positive changes, from the neat planning of trees to the expanded, cleaner and more beautiful common space," Mr. Hai shared.
Not only Nghia Do Park, many other spaces across the city are also wearing a "new coat", contributing to building a green - civilized - modern capital.

While Nghia Do Park is still in the process of completion, the nearby Cau Giay Park has completed the renovation and reopening, becoming a vivid testament to the effectiveness of the urban renovation policy.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao (Nghia Tan ward) said that the change in the park is huge.
"Previously, the campus was also as spacious but the design was somewhat old and not airy. Now, everything is designed to be more spacious, large-scale and beautiful. The renovation of this park really satisfies us people" Ms. Thao happily said.
According to the People's Committee of Cau Giay Ward, the Cau Giay Park Renovation and Repair Project was approved by the People's Council of Cau Giay District (old) in Resolution No. 25/NQ-HDND dated December 18, 2023 with a total investment of more than 74 billion VND from the city budget. The project has a total area of over 95,000m2, including a lake area of nearly 15,000m2, an internal traffic system, a garden, a playground, a fountain and auxiliary works such as a resting hut, an operator's house, a toilet... designed synchronously, modernly, and environmentally friendly.
The project is invested by the Cau Giay Ward Infrastructure - Investment Project Management Board, in coordination with consulting, supervision and construction units. The project started in February 2025 and has been completed more than 40 days ahead of schedule, ensuring quality, technical, aesthetic, labor safety and environmental sanitation.
At the ceremony to place the signboard of Cau Giay Park project to celebrate the 71st Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress held on October 11, the People's Committee of Cau Giay Ward said that the celebration activities aimed to arouse the pride and sense of responsibility of each Cau Giay Ward resident for the revolutionary tradition and fine cultural history of the ward.
