Hanoi builds a new road nearly 7km long, completed in 2027

Hanoi - The Phu Tuc - Hoang Long - Tri Trung road project is 6.9km long, with an investment capital of nearly 332 billion VND, expected to be completed in 2027.

On November 21, the People's Committee of Phuong Duc commune organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Phu Tuc - Hoang Long - Tri Trung road project - the section connecting Provincial Road 429 to the Nhue River dike.

The Phu Tuc - Hoang Long - Tri Trung road project is being implemented to complete the local transport network, reduce travel costs, improve reliability and quality of road traffic infrastructure.

After completion, the project will significantly improve traffic capacity between residential areas, support trade and service development, increase market access opportunities, social services, and create more jobs for people.

The new route is also expected to contribute to reducing congestion, limiting traffic accidents, reducing transportation costs and expanding the ability to exploit types of transportation services in the area, creating a sustainable infrastructure foundation to serve the development planning of Phuong Duc commune and Hanoi city.

Director of the Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board of Phuong Duc Commune, Do Thanh Cong, said that the project has a total length of 6.9km; the cross-section is 12m, including a 7m road surface, a 2x2m reinforced sidewalk and a 2x0.5m unondable sidewalk.

The investment items include: Roadbed, road surface; sidewalk system, trees; cross-culverts and drainage; road embankment, reinforced concrete retaining walls; frame embankment and embankment and river embankment; traffic organization and lighting system.

The project uses a land area of about 8.8 hectares, belonging to group B, a level II traffic project. The total investment is nearly 332 billion VND, of which compensation, support and resettlement costs are more than 91.4 billion VND; construction costs are more than 222.5 billion VND; the rest is project management costs, construction investment consulting, other costs and reserves.

According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into use on National Day, September 2, 2027. The project is expected to contribute significantly to the completion of the transport infrastructure, creating momentum for sustainable socio-economic development of Phuong Duc commune in the coming years.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Phuong Duc Commune People's Committee Nguyen Trong Vinh emphasized that the Phu Tuc - Hoang Long - Tri Trung route is a key infrastructure project, of special importance to the commune's socio-economic development goals.

Mr. Vinh requested contractors to strictly follow technical procedures, ensure the quality of the project; organize construction scientifically, according to design, and on schedule. Supervisory consulting units need to fulfill their responsibilities, regularly inspect, promptly report to handle arising issues...
