On March 2nd, a leader of the Ha Tinh Traffic Construction and Urban Development Investment Project Management Board (the investor) said that currently, the unit is urgently inspecting and surveying to prepare an economic and technical report to select contractors for the repair and replacement of damaged traffic light clusters in the province.
Through a survey by the Ha Tinh Traffic Construction and Urban Development Investment Project Management Board, in Ha Tinh province, there are 84 traffic light signal systems at intersections that are damaged and must be replaced and repaired.
On January 26, Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the Project to repair damaged 84 traffic light clusters with a total investment of 11.5 billion VND, requiring completion in 2026.
Previously, the Ha Tinh Department of Construction reported that the impact of storms No. 5, No. 6, No. 10 and widespread heavy rains in 2025 caused damage, intermittency, and loss of connection to many traffic light clusters on many roads.
After that, this Department proposed to allocate 11.5 billion VND to repair and restore damaged, broken, intermittent, and unconnected traffic light clusters.
In November 2025, the Ha Tinh Department of Construction issued a document urging to overcome and repair damaged traffic light clusters in the area.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had an article reflecting the fact that in Ha Tinh there are many broken traffic light clusters, posing a risk of traffic accidents.
