According to the report of the Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Ha Tinh province, on the morning of August 25, the Ha Tinh sea area had winds gradually increasing to level 7 - 9, then increasing to level 10 - 11, the area near the storm's eye passed level 12 - 14, gusts of level 17, waves 5.0 - 7.0m high, the area near the eye 8.0 - 10.0m, the sea was very rough.

Forecast of heavy rain in Ha Tinh province: Due to the impact of storm No. 5, from the morning of August 25 to the end of August 26, Ha Tinh province will have heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall in common areas is 200 - 400mm, in some places over 600mm.
