According to initial information, at around 11pm on June 10, two young men (about 25-33 years old) were riding a motorbike at high speed on Thong Nhat Street, heading from Le Duc Tho Street to National Highway 1. When they reached Pham Van Chieu intersection, the two suddenly rushed onto the sidewalk, hitting an electric pole and the wall of a house.

The strong collision caused one person to die on the spot, the other person to be seriously injured, and was taken to the SOS Go Vap team for emergency treatment but did not survive. The front of the two motorbikes was broken, the scene was messy, the porch roof and the shop sign were damaged.
The victim's identity was identified as N.H.B.L. (33 years old, living in District 4) and N.T.T. (25 years old, from Soc Trang).

People who witnessed the incident said that before the accident, they heard the shout of " robbery, robbery" and saw two motorbikes moving at high speed as if chasing them.
The police seized the vehicle and extracted security cameras in the area to investigate the cause of the incident.
