In 5 days, Hai Phong welcomed and served about 780,000 visitors, an increase of 39.28% over the same period in 2024. Of which, domestic visitors reached 751,000 and international visitors reached 29,000.
Outstanding destinations continue to be the priority choice of tourists such as Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay (Cat Hai District); Do Son Tourist Area with beaches of Area I, II, III, Dragon Hill Tourist Area, Dragon Hill Water Park, Hon Dau Resort, Ba De Temple, Tuong Long Tower. In addition, the attractions in the city center, Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem Relic Site (Vinh Bao), Trang Kenh Scenic Landscape (Thuy Nguyen), Mac Dynasty Memorial Site and locations for cultural, sports and tourism events also attract a large number of visitors.
Enterprises operating in the tourism sector, accommodation establishments, restaurants and "food tour" organizers have carefully prepared facilities and human resources, while focusing on improving service quality. Service prices are publicly listed, there is no phenomenon of price increases during the holidays. The room occupancy rate in the whole city reached over 80%; in the inner city areas, Do Son and Cat Ba, during the 4 peak days (from April 30 to March 3), many accommodation facilities achieved 100% room occupancy.
