On the evening of July 12, due to the impact of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, some places in An Giang province experienced house roofs being blown off, causing property damage.
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local armed forces quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with the government and forces to support people to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.
In Vinh Thong ward, thunderstorms completely blew off the roofs of 2 houses. The Ward Military Command mobilized 15 officers and soldiers of the militia and self-defense forces, coordinated with 6 neighborhood officials and 10 people to urgently clear the scene, reinforce roofs, and support families to reduce difficulties after the natural disaster.
In To Chau ward, strong winds blew off the roofs of 2 houses in Ta Sang neighborhood. The Ward Military Command has assigned 5 militia and self-defense comrades to coordinate with 2 ward police officers, 5 grassroots security and order forces and 5 neighborhood officers to help people move property to safe places. At the same time, overcome initial damage, ensuring safety for people and property.

Currently, the Military Command of wards continues to coordinate with Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and mass organizations to implement measures to support people to repair houses and soon stabilize their lives.
