Hai Phong - Dozens of households in Nhi Chieu ward voluntarily donated land and dismantled works to expand the key road, contributing to promoting urban development.

People in Nhi Chieu ward, Hai Phong city are actively joining hands to donate land and expand the road from Kim Dong to the new Nhi Chieu High School (section from Tan Dan through Deo Heo to National Highway 17B), contributing to accelerating the progress of traffic infrastructure projects in the area.

Thanks to doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization, up to now, 28 households in Phu Thu 1 residential group have agreed and voluntarily donated land, dismantled and relocated many works on land such as gates, fences, corrugated iron roofs, and trees.

Along with that, 15 households in Kim Dong residential group also voluntarily donated and moved residential land to serve the expansion of the nearly 2.2km long road, from a road surface of 5.5-6m wide.

Many typical households have actively responded to the policy, such as Ms. Tran Thi Thuy's family donating over 200m2 of red book land and agricultural land; Mr. Bui Van Dung's family donating over 120m2 of land. Mr. and Mrs. Tran Van Binh, Bui Trung Kien, Nguyen Van Cuong, Than Van Lam, Phung Thi Nghien, Tran Van Hung... also voluntarily dismantled gates, fences, auxiliary works, trees, and crops to hand over the site.

The consensus and joint efforts of the people have created favorable conditions for the construction unit to implement the project according to the plan. According to the roadmap, the road will be invested in upgrading, completing and putting into use in 2026.

When completed, the road will not only make travel and trade for people more convenient but also contribute to promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
