Thousands of people change land cover information after merger

Ha Tinh - After merging into Thach Ha district, thousands of people in the old Loc Ha district have gone to register changes in land use right certificates.

Implementing the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units, from January 1, 2025, Ho Do commune of Loc Ha district will be merged into Ha Tinh city; all 11 remaining communes and towns of Loc Ha district will be merged into Thach Ha district.

With changes in residential address information and administrative boundaries, in recent days, thousands of people in 11 communes and towns of Loc Ha district (old) have adjusted their land use right certificate information.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Head of the Thach Ha District Branch of the Land Registration Office - said that to meet the needs of people in registering changes on land use right certificates, the unit has mobilized 17 officers to the grassroots to quickly resolve procedures.

"In the past two weekends, we have resolved 3,200 certificates for people. Of which, Loc Ha town edited 2,400 papers, Thach Kim commune edited 800 papers" - Mr. Hung said.

The edited information focuses on the following content: Land plot address, permanent address, land plot information that has changed due to administrative unit merger...

Mr. Hung said that during office hours, the Thach Ha District Branch of the Land Registration Office works at the office and receives documents.

On Saturdays and Sundays, officers must go directly to each locality to support people at the headquarters of the People's Committees of communes and towns to process records of registration of changes in land use right certificates.

According to the plan, the adjustment of registration of changes in land use right certificates for 11 communes and towns of the old Loc Ha district merged into Thach Ha district will be completed by March 2025. To date, 2/11 communes and towns have been completed.
