Part of the reason comes from the fact that many people do not yet know how to organize new traffic, still going straight from Nguyen Van Giap Street to the Tran Huu Duc - Nguyen Van Giap intersection, causing traffic conflicts.
To avoid congestion, many people have ridden motorbikes on the sidewalk, causing chaos and making it unsafe for pedestrians.
Currently, the signal light at the Trinh Van Bo - Phuc Dien intersection is running at 84 seconds, the red light at 81 seconds.
According to Mr. Thanh Tan (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi), although the congestion is long, it is still possible to move slowly, unlike previous days.
"A few days ago, there was congestion and we could not go, all the lanes were still. This is a lot of relief," Thanh Tan shared.
According to the reporter, the density of vehicles traveling from Tran Huu Duc to Trinh Van Bo is very high. In the opposite direction, vehicles moved smoothly.
Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department is increasing forces to regulate and divert traffic.
Traffic police recommend that people strictly follow the new traffic organization plan, avoid causing traffic conflicts, only turn around at the locations of the opening points according to regulations and follow the instructions of the authorities.
The authorities will continue to monitor the traffic situation during the pilot period to have a reasonable adjustment plan to completely resolve the congestion on the Tran Huu Duc - Trinh Van Bo road axis.
