The forces gathered at the City Theater Square at 5:30 a.m., exactly at 6 a.m. opening time.
The forces started walking at 6:30 a.m. The group departed from the City Theater Square, followed Quang Trung Street, went around Nguyen Duc Canh Street, reached Cau Dat Intersection and returned to the City Theater Square.
Also on the same morning, leaders of Hai Duong, Tu Minh wards, Tan Hung wards, Chi Linh wards... along with the police force, civil servants, organizations and people in the area simultaneously participated in the program, contributing to the whole country in completing the goal of 1 billion steps, demonstrating the determination to bring Vietnam into a new era - the era of solidarity, strength and civilization.

The event was implemented from the Coordination Plan of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security on organizing the activity "Marching forward with Vietnam" nationwide. The city-level event in Hai Phong was organized by Hai Phong City Police.
