According to the reporter, at 11:00 a.m. on December 7, Thu Duc City Police were extracting camera footage to investigate the cause of a serious accident between a tanker truck and a motorbike near Phu Huu roundabout, which left a woman dead on the spot.
Before that, at around 7am the same day, the male driver drove a tanker truck on Vo Chi Cong Street, from My Thuy roundabout to Phu Huu roundabout. When he had just passed Ba Cua bridge about 50m (in Phu Huu ward), the truck turned right into a concrete lot.
At this time, it suddenly collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. N (27 years old, from Kien Giang province). Ms. N fell to the road and died on the spot. The tanker driver was then taken to the police station for questioning.
Initial investigation, Ms. N was on her way home from Binh Dien market (District 8) when the accident happened.
