At exactly 8:00 a.m. on May 9, 44 groups participated in the team approval program and parade. Leading the ceremony were 3 ceremony blocks (Cationwide license plate block, Party flag block, Fatherland flag block; Uncle Ho photo block; City symbol vehicle block). Next are 18 armed forces teams led by the Hai Phong City Military Command, 23 mass parades and model cars led by the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The participants marched along the Tran Hung Dao route - through the City Theater Square - Quang Trung - In front of the Monument of female General Le Chan - Nguyen Duc Canh - Tran Phu.
Earlier, the city organized the first training in the morning of 5.5, the second -time training 7.5. It is expected that the rehearsal time takes place on the morning of 10.5 and the official program from 7:30 am to 8:50 am on 11.5.
Previously, Hai Phong City Police also announced a ban on vehicles moving through many central streets from 6:30 a.m. on May 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11 until the end of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1954 - May 13, 2025).
