According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the flood water has not yet receded, so National Highway 7 through Nhan Hoa Commune (Nghe An) is still being fenced off by the authorities, blocking the road from allowing vehicles to pass to ensure safety.





Currently, some cattle are still being temporarily sheltered by people in the highlands. Among them, some buffaloes and cows were taken into hiding in the yard of the old Cam Son Kindergarten (in Nhan Hoa commune), many pigs were temporarily detained by local people on National Highway 7 in the area in front of the gate of Cam Son Kindergarten to avoid flooding.
Previously, due to the impact of floods, from the afternoon and night of July 23, floodwaters flooded Nhan Hoa commune. The local government and functional forces have evacuated about 7,000 households to safe places, and many properties and livestock have also been proactively relocated and raised to higher ground to reduce damage.
According to preliminary statistics of this locality, out of 22,000 households in Nhan Hoa commune, more than 1/3 of households have had their houses flooded, of which hundreds of houses were flooded almost to the roof.
