Estimated damage is more than 345 billion VND.
The district hopes to receive support and cooperation from organizations, businesses and kind individuals to help people stabilize their lives soon.
On December 15, speaking with reporters, Mr. Vu Van De - Chairman of Bao Lac District People's Committee - said: "The representative of Mailisa beauty salon system (Ms. Phan Thi Mai) is supporting the construction of 40 houses for extremely disadvantaged households affected by storm No. 3".
On October 14, the units held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 40 houses, with an area of 60-80 m2, level 4, each with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a private bathroom. Each house will receive support from Ms. Phan Thi Mai from 150-200 million VND.
According to the Chairman of Bao Lac District People's Committee, the houses are designed and built in accordance with local customs and practices.
According to the reporter's investigation, these 40 houses belong to the project of resettlement of people in the disaster area of Ban Rieng hamlet.
The total investment is expected to be 26,467 billion VND. Before construction, Bao Lac district leveled about 4 hectares. The leveled area is divided into 42 lots arranged in 3 zones, with an area of 400 m2/lot, combined with internal roads, not including the slope (including the area used to build houses, barns, and gardens).
According to the actual records of the reporter in December, most of the houses have basically finished the village part, some have roofs and are entering the finishing stage. At the construction site, dozens of workers are working busily.
A construction worker said: "We are striving to finish the rough construction of all 40 houses before Tet. Completing all the items will probably take until next year."
"The people who received the houses and we, the construction workers, are very impressed by the kindness of Mrs. Mai and her husband who sponsored money to build houses to help the poor," the worker added.
At the positions between the areas, concrete embankments are built, combined with slopes to ensure stability. Electricity and water systems have also been fully arranged. The main road and internal roads leading to the lots are designed to be 2.5-3 m wide, with natural aggregate road surfaces.
In addition to the 40 houses mentioned above, during the time Cao Bang suffered the effects of storm No. 3, Ms. Phan Thi Mai and the Mailisa beauty salon system, through the Cao Bang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, donated 1 billion 520 million VND and 50 tons of rice to the people.
