Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor has just received a certificate of merit for its work in developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.

In 2024, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CLF) achieved impressive results in developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, exceeding assigned targets.

Implementing Directive 06-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Resolution 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor has directed trade unions at all levels to step up the implementation of plans, organize surveys of enterprises, and mobilize workers to participate in trade unions. The Steering Committee for developing union members at all levels has been strengthened, with clear assignment of tasks, ensuring that all work is carried out synchronously and effectively.

Thanks to these efforts, the Provincial Federation of Labor admitted 1,194 new members, an increase of 810 members, reaching 101.3% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In addition, the province also established 19 grassroots unions, including 16 grassroots unions at enterprises and 3 grassroots unions, completing 100% of the plan.

In recognition of the above achievements, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has recognized the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation as one of 32 outstanding units nationwide in the work of developing union members in 2024. This is a driving force for the provincial trade union organization to continue to innovate its activities, contributing to building a strong labor force and promoting socio-economic development.
