According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 7 am on August 27, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 760m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to more than 55.1m, the total discharge flow to downstream is 880m3/s, and the downstream water level is 4m.
Previously, electricity output on August 26 at Tri An Hydropower Company reached nearly 8.4 million kWh.
Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.
