The project has a total investment of nearly 474 billion VND, invested by Project Management Board 6 (Ministry of Transport, now Ministry of Construction).
The route is renovated and upgraded with a total length of about 5 km, starting point at Km73+500, ending point at Km78+500 on National Highway 6, belonging to Thong Nhat and Hoa Binh wards, Phu Tho province.
According to the design, after completion, the road has a cross-section of 20.5 m wide, meeting the standard of a level III plain road with a scale of 6 lanes. Including 4 motorized lanes, design speed of 80 km/h and 2 mixed lanes, each lane about 2 m wide.
Expanding the road surface helps increase traffic capacity, gradually overcoming the prolonged overload situation on National Highway 6 - the axis connecting Hanoi with the Northwest provinces.

The contractors constructing the project include Truong Thanh Co., Ltd.; Ngoc Minh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company - UDIC (responsible for construction and ensuring traffic safety throughout the route) and 1/5 Construction Co., Ltd. (construction, ensuring traffic safety for the bridge section).
The project was started on March 1, 2023, expected to be completed in 18 months (August 2024). However, due to difficulties and obstacles, the project has had to be extended many times.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.

On January 16, actual records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters showed that the project has been completed, traffic is bustling, and the road marking system and median strip have been installed, ensuring safety and aesthetics of the road.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thien (30 years old, residing in Thong Nhat ward) shared that since the road was completed, travel is more convenient, traffic congestion and collisions have decreased significantly, and the area's appearance is more spacious than before.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vu Trong Huan - Project Director said that the project has been completed so far, and it is expected that handover will be carried out from now until before the Lunar New Year.
The completion of the project not only meets the increasing travel needs of people but also has important significance in connecting trade, attracting investment, and promoting socio-economic development of Phu Tho province and the Northwest region provinces.
