On July 7, the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union simultaneously deployed 79 youth volunteer teams with more than 1,500 volunteers in communes, wards and special zones across the province, to support people and the government in the first days after the merger of administrative units.
The "local support" teams focus on many practical tasks such as supporting file editing, instructing people to use VNeID, declare citizen identification information, registering documents online, synchronizing personal data to the new address, cleaning the administrative headquarters and renovating meeting rooms to prepare for meeting voters.
Youth union members deploy the model "Green shirt to welcome people - Near people, close to work" to guide the process of receiving and distributing consecutive numbers, supporting recording records; organizing a "one-on-one" form to help the elderly complete procedures to receive social pension benefits.
Many commune groups have established " mobility support youth groups" to each village and hamlet, knocking on doors to each house to directly support people facing difficulties in registering for VNeID accounts and confirming their residence.
According to the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, the teams will operate continuously for 2 months, from July to the end of August 2025, to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity of young people, accompanying grassroots authorities in administrative reform and digital transformation.
