Information from Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) on February 23rd said that throughout the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday 2026 from February 14, 2026 (December 27th of the lunar calendar) to the end of February 22nd, 2026 (the 6th day of Tet), the Corporation and member units have organized more than 15,200 Tet-through shifts, ensuring safe, stable and continuous power supply, serving people in 8 southern provinces and cities to celebrate Spring and welcome Tet.
Accordingly, EVNSPC has organized more than 15,200 shifts to ensure safe and stable power supply at 146 entertainment venues, 74 fireworks display locations, festival venues and important areas in 8 southern provinces and cities.


Thanks to careful and proactive preparation of plans to ensure electricity supply from the Corporation level to member units, the electricity system in EVNSPC's managed area operates safely and stably, without incidents affecting people's lives as well as entertainment activities during the Tet holiday.
Customer care center, SCADA Operations Center, 8 Electricity Companies and 192 Electricity Management Teams under EVNSPC have organized 24/24 duty, fully prepared vehicles, supplies, diesel generators, communication systems,... throughout the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday to be ready to handle electrical incidents.
EVNSPC also closely coordinates with the Southern Power System Dispatch Center (SSO) in the operation of the power system; Electricity Companies under EVNSPC have seriously complied with the dispatch order, thereby contributing to ensuring the safety of the national and regional power system in the context of load fluctuations during Tet.


Notably, during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday, units under EVNSPC in the southern provinces did not record any electrical labor accidents, nor did they have any electrical incidents.
The EVNSPC Customer Care Application, switchboard 19001006 – 19009000, as well as EVNSPC's other multi-channel customer care system also operate 24/7 throughout the Tet holiday, have promptly met and responded to customers' electricity requests and services.
