Successful organization of the Party Congress for the 2026-2030 term
One of the outstanding highlights of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) in 2025 is the successful organization of the Congress of Delegates of the Corporation's Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030. The Congress elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 21 comrades with very high concentration and confidence, meeting the expectations and expectations of officials, party members, and workers.
Ensuring stable, safe, and reliable power supply
The total commercial electricity output of the corporation reached 82.410 billion kWh, an increase of 2.92% compared to the same period according to the post-merger structure. National grid electricity has been supplied to 100% of communes and towns; the number of households with electricity reached 99.87%, of which, the number of rural households supplied with electricity reached 99.88%. By the end of 2025, 580 communes met criterion No. 4 on electricity in new rural construction, reaching 88%.
EVNSPC continues to ensure power supply in the sea and island areas, receives, operates, and manages the 110kV submarine cable supplying power to the Con Dao Special Zone, and performs the task of supplying power to the Truong Sa Special Zone and DK1 rig.
50-year mark of "Building - Developing - Lighting up faith
In 2025, EVNSPC marked a milestone of half a century of persistently bringing electricity to light up the Southern region. Not organizing a large-scale celebration, EVNSPC chose a meeting with generations of leaders and officials, simple and solemn, to save savings to support hundreds of people in housing difficulties.
Exceeding targets for construction investment work
In 2025, EVNSPC started construction of 1 220kV project and 69 110kV projects, exceeding 4 projects compared to the beginning of the year's plan, exceeding 2 projects compared to the adjusted plan assigned by EVN; energized 88 110kV projects, exceeding 20 projects compared to the beginning of the year's plan, exceeding 2 projects compared to the adjusted plan assigned by EVN; and completed 13 obstacles, prolonged for many years; completed 623 medium and low voltage power grids.
In particular, the Corporation completed the energizing of 50 110kV power grid projects before April 30, 2025, creating achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of EVNSPC's construction and development and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Proactively restructuring the apparatus
By July 1, 2025, EVNSPC will complete the arrangement of 19 provincial-level Power Companies with 8 units remaining according to new administrative boundaries. At the same time, the Corporation will transfer Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Power Companies to EVNHCMC; Ninh Thuan Power Company to EVNCPC; receive Dak Nong Power Company; convert the model of Dong Nai Power Company; merge Southern Power Service Company into Southern Power Experiment Company; Transfer service enterprises and Power Experiment Centers to Power Companies; Establish Power Management Teams according to new functions and models.
Completing and exceeding targets
In 2025, business and customer service work continues to be implemented effectively, ensuring publicity and transparency, increasing customer experience with a multi-channel customer care system, 100% level 4 online electricity services, cashless payments... EVNSPC also well implements the indicators of power loss, power supply reliability, power saving work; maintaining financial balance, preserving and developing state capital.
Speedily overcome the 110kV submarine cable incident, restore power supply to Phu Quoc special zone
At the end of November 2025, an objective incident occurred on the 110kV Ha Tien - Phu Quoc submarine cable, causing the power supply to Phu Quoc special zone to be interrupted. Faced with the emergency situation, EVNSPC immediately activated the highest response plans, prioritizing power supply for critical loads, mobilizing maximum local resources, and increasing diesel generators to maintain domestic electricity for people.
At the same time, immediately deploy the construction of the 110kV air power line section. After only 5 days of lightning-fast construction, the power line was successfully connected and energized, completely restoring power supply to Phu Quoc, sooner than planned.
Thoroughly grasp Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation
In 2025, EVNSPC promoted the application of science and technology, digital transformation in all production and business activities. In particular, the Corporation left a strong impression at the National Electricity Science and Technology Conference in 2025. In the year, 117 Corporation-level initiatives were recognized, especially 5 EVN-level initiatives and completed the acceptance of 01 EVN-level project.
Nearly 60 billion VND to implement social security work
Not only successfully completing the task of ensuring electricity supply, EVNSPC also spent nearly 19 billion VND from not organizing the 50th anniversary of construction and development to support the construction of 315 houses for the poor in southern provinces and cities, responding to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Government; and mobilized more than 30 billion VND of socialized resources to build 500 new houses for difficult households.
CBCNV of the entire Corporation contributed more than 10 billion VND to support people affected by natural disasters. Along with that, tens of thousands of gifts were given to poor people and policy families during holidays and Tet; deployed many meaningful and practical customer gratitude activities; free electricity repairs for poor households...
Caring for the lives of workers
In 2025, many practical policies and activities continue to be implemented synchronously by EVNSPC, becoming a solid support for more than 17,000 officials and employees. From housing support, visits, encouragement during holidays, Tet, Workers' Month, to timely sharing when workers encounter difficulties, natural disasters, workers working in remote and isolated areas... Through periodic dialogue programs, the Workers' Conference, the voices of each official and employee are always listened to and respected.
