On March 31, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision approving the investment project to build the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway under the public-private partnership method (phase 1) with a total investment capital of VND 17,718 billion.
The total length of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway is 73.62km, passing through Bao Loc city and Bao Lam, Di Linh and Duc Trong districts.
The starting point is from Km126+484.93 in Bao Loc city, the end point is Km200+100 intersecting with Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway (Km208+650), in Duc Trong district.
In the completed phase, the expressway has a designed speed of 100km/h, a scale of 4 lanes, a roadbed of 24.75m wide, and 2 emergency lanes.

It is expected that there will be about 47km of service roads and 19km of level crossings to connect residents on both sides. The entire route has 51 bridges, including 13 bridges on the main route, 35 overpasses across the highway, and 3 bridges at the intersection.
The project has 2 toll stations on the main route and toll stations at intersections.
The total land area to be cleared to serve the project according to the completion phase is about 610 hectares.
Of which, Bao Loc city is about 37ha, Bao Lam district is about 57ha, Di Linh district is about 305ha and Duc Trong district is about 211ha. The total cost of site clearance is VND 5,794 billion.
The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project Phase 1 has a total investment capital of VND 17,718 billion. Of which, the State budget capital is VND 7,761 billion (accounting for 43.8%), the capital mobilized by investors is about VND 9,957 billion (accounting for 56.2%).
Currently, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee is urgently building resettlement areas, carrying out compensation procedures, and site clearance to be ready to start the project in the near future.
