In July 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced decisions on appointing leaders of departments, affiliated units and state-owned enterprises after the organizational arrangement between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces. There are more than 60 cadres appointed to leadership positions.
Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs has announced the decisions of the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on appointing personnel to leadership positions of specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee and state-owned enterprises. The term of office is 5 years, starting from July 1, 2025.
Ms. Chamalea Thi Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee - was appointed as Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Mr. Vo Hoan Hai - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training - continues to hold the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training.
Mr. Vo Chi Vuong - continues to hold the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
Mr. Le Pham Quoc Vinh - Chief of Office of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - was appointed as Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan - was appointed as Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phu - Director of the Ninh Thuan Department of Finance - was appointed as Director of the Department of Construction.
The department directors who continue to hold positions after the arrangement include: Ly Nguyen Nguyen Vu (Department of Justice), Ta Hong Quang (Provincial Inspectorate), Chau Ngo Anh Nhan (Department of Finance), Le Van Khoa (Department of Health), Nguyen Duy Quang (Department of Agriculture and Environment), Pham Quoc Hoan (Department of Science and Technology), Ho Xuan Ninh (Department of Industry and Trade).
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam also appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien as Director of the Provincial Development Project Management Board.
Mr. Dang Huu Tai holds the position of Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Agricultural and Transportation Works.
Mr. Pham Minh Tan continues to hold the position of Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Mr. Truong Van Tien - former Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Ninh Thuan province - was appointed to the equivalent position in Khanh Hoa province.
In the field of education and training, Mr. Phan Phien was recognized as the Principal of Khanh Hoa University (term 2020-2025).
Mr. Nguyen Van Luc holds the position of Principal of Nha Trang College of Technology.
Mr. Nguyen Phan Anh Quoc - former Principal of Ninh Thuan Vocational College - was appointed Principal of Khanh Hoa College of Technology - Energy.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also decided to appoint:
7 comrades hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; 50 comrades hold the position of Deputy Directors of departments; 5 comrades hold the position of Deputy Chief Inspector of the province; 2 comrades hold the position of Deputy Head of the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam emphasized that this appointment is not only an urgent requirement for organization after the merger, but also has long-term strategic significance.
