Worrying but not afraid
It is expected that the number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers (cedents) working in Bac Lieu province will return to Ca Mau province to work over 1,800 people.
This number has been "increased and decreased" by the two provinces of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau many times. Because, the need to stay on the workplace is higher than that of those who registered to work in Ca Mau after the merger of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (request not to name her real name) working at an agency of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee said: "My family is ready to go to Ca Mau to work. At first, I was worried because my child was studying in Bac Lieu when the couple came to Ca Mau to work but didn't know where to send him. After discussing and agreeing, we also have a reasonable solution".

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, an officer of a department-level agency in Bac Lieu, is also preparing for a new workplace. Mr. Thang believes that everywhere is for the people. "Before I asked for the job, I had a commitment to accept all moves from the agency. Now the agency assigns us to go. Everyone knows that moving to a new workplace will be more or less difficult. I think it will be difficult at first, then it will be more favorable," Mr. Thang shared.
Ca Mau is ready to welcome officials from Bac Lieu to work with specific policies: Support each person with 2.2 million VND/month for the first 6 months; arrange social housing; arrange working headquarters...
Hope to serve the people better
In Ca Mau, the spirit of consensus has been clearly demonstrated by people in many localities. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, a resident of Tan Xuyen ward, Ca Mau city, commented: After merging with Bac Lieu, Ca Mau will create more favorable conditions for the development of both provinces. I buy and sell small, hopefully, more cadres will come here, and buying and selling will be better."

Mr. Nguyen Van Toi, Dam Doi district, expressed his confidence in this major policy: I fully support the policy of arranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels. After the merger of the state apparatus, it will be less complicated and work more effectively, the selected cadres must also have heart and vision to care for the people. I hope Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces will promote their advantages to increase people's income".
To ensure the necessary conditions to effectively serve the operations of the commune-level government after the reorganization, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Pham Thanh Ngai directed the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction, and the People's Committees of districts and cities of Ca Mau city according to their functions and tasks to urgently review, upgrade, and repair the working headquarters of commune-level administrative units after the reorganization. In particular, priority is given to arranging Public Administration Service Centers and online meeting rooms, ensuring the necessary working conditions to effectively serve the assigned functions and tasks of the new commune-level government. Ensure the provision of public services to people and businesses is continuous, convenient and without impact or interruption. Key officials at the provincial and district levels appointed to the new communes and wards must quickly have a detailed plan, specifically arranging offices and equipment to ensure eligibility to put into operation and operation immediately when the competent authority decides.
