On May 15, Hue City Post Office organized the opening of the Guidance Point, received documents and returned results of handling administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries, and announced a list of 136 public service agents throughout the city.
This is the first model in the country, marking an important step forward in administrative reform, serving people and businesses in a modern, convenient direction, in line with the national digital transformation policy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized that Hue City is committed to effectively implementing this model, aiming to build a proactive government - serving, focusing on people's satisfaction.
The model is deployed at 9 post office receiving points, allowing people to submit administrative procedures at any location, regardless of their place of residence. These points have the function of receiving, digitizing records, guiding, looking up, returning results and supporting public service registration.
Along with that, Hue City Post Office established a network of 136 public service agents in wards, communes and towns, effectively taking advantage of the existing Commune Culture Post Office system. The staff will support people to submit documents online, transfer paper documents to the competent authority and return the results as requested.
