On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and to celebrate the 17th Hue City Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030), Hue City will simultaneously start construction, inaugurate and put into operation a series of important projects in the fields of: trade - services, tourism, industry, infrastructure and education.
Standing out in the group of commercial - service and tourism projects, Hue will start construction of high-end hotels in An Van Duong New Urban Area (612 billion VND), commercial center on Phan Chu Trinh Street (39.4 billion VND), Huong Riverside service area (86 billion VND) and international tourism service chain in Nguyen Hue (180 billion VND). Notably, the Ba Trieu (196 billion VND) cultural and sports square project will be inaugurated on September 1.

In the industrial - production sector, notable projects include: expansion of Phu Bai Beer Factory (nearly 2,000 billion VND), EON helmet manufacturing factory (406 billion VND), expansion of HPS2 anhydrous sand processing factory (total investment of more than 800 billion VND), Scavi Huong Tra Garment Factory (395 billion VND).
The technical infrastructure and environmental sector recorded the inauguration ceremony of the Concentrated Wastewater Treatment Station at Gilimex Industrial Park (130 billion VND) on September 30.
Regarding transportation and resettlement, Hue City has simultaneously implemented 4 technical infrastructure projects to serve the North-South high-speed railway in the areas of An Van Duong, Phu Da, Phong Hien and Loc Tien. The total investment capital of the projects is up to hundreds of billions of VND.
In the field of education, the FPT education complex project in Area E - An Van Duong (432 billion VND) will be inaugurated on August 24, providing a modern learning environment for students in the area.
In particular, the Phong Dien - Dien Loc rescue route (777 billion VND) will be put into use on September 1, serving the goal of responding to natural disasters and developing the coastal economy.
