In the afternoon of May 10, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Minh Huu - Chairman of Bac Quang Commune People's Committee said that functional forces are still continuing to deploy the search for the missing victim.
About 200 people were divided into 5 groups to coordinate with local people to deploy searches in the missing area. The search process encountered difficulties when the area had rain and slippery roads for the past 2 days," the leader informed.
Previously, at about 7 am on May 8, Mr. Trieu Chan Ta (born 1968, Viet Tan 2 village, Bac Quang commune) went to the forest to pick medicinal herbs.
The location where Mr. Ta went to pick medicinal plants belongs to sub-zone 285, protection forest in Viet Tan 2 and Thuong My villages, Bac Quang commune.
When leaving, Mr. Ta brought his phone. By evening, not seeing Mr. Ta return, calling could not be contacted, so the family reported to the local authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities mobilized forces to deploy search operations.
