On the morning of June 1, functional forces and people continued to organize the search for P.S.T (born 2008, residing in Song Luy commune) who went missing under Song Luy, belonging to Song Luy commune, Lam Dong province.
According to initial information, in the afternoon of May 31, T and 2 friends came to Ben Thuong area, Hoa Binh village, Song Luy commune to play and swim in the river.
At about 4 pm on the same day, 2 friends went ashore first, while T continued to stay in the river. Suddenly, T unfortunately encountered an accident and was swept away by the water and went missing.
Upon receiving the news, Song Luy Commune Police coordinated with local forces to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy search and rescue operations.
By the evening of May 31, a large number of people and functional forces expanded the search area along the area where the incident occurred but there were no results yet.
The Binh Thuan Search and Rescue Volunteer Team also mobilized water motorbikes and SUP rows along the flow of the Luy River to support the search for victims.
On the morning of June 1, search operations continued to be deployed in the river area and suspicious locations downstream. Currently, functional forces are coordinating with local people to make efforts to search for the missing young man.
