On the afternoon of March 8, Ninh Thuy ward authorities continued to mobilize two more fishing boats of fishermen, two motorbikes and 10 local divers to urgently search for the two missing male students after swimming in the sea.
Today, Ninh Thuy Ward Police coordinated with the grassroots security team, standing militia, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 and other functional forces to conduct the search.
However, due to unfavorable weather conditions with big waves and strong winds, the search encountered many difficulties.
Rescue forces are still trying to search the sea area and expand the search area to quickly find the two students.
Earlier in the morning of the same day, Mr. Nguyen Thai H (residing in Thanh Danh, Ninh Diem, Ninh Hoa) went to Ninh Thuy Ward Police to report that his son, Nguyen Minh D (born in 2007) went missing while swimming in the sea with Huynh Hoang T (born in 2009, also residing in the locality).
According to information from the family, the two children left home at 5:30 a.m. to go to the coastal area near Cat Trang tourist area, in Ba Ha 2 residential group, Ninh Thuy ward.
By 8am the same day, the family had not yet seen the two return. When searching, relatives discovered a motorbike with license plate 79H1-063xx and two pairs of sandals on the sand, but could not find the whereabouts of the two students.
