Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Luong Van Thi - Chairman of Da Bac District People's Committee said that in recent years, many exemplary cadres and party members have participated and actively mobilized people to participate in patriotic emulation movements, propagate and disseminate laws, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks.
Along with that, Da Bac district constantly improves the quality of the staff directly doing the work of disseminating and educating the law and propagating and mobilizing people to participate in the patriotic movement with good professional skills, understanding the law, knowing ethnic minority languages, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks.
The work of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies and disseminating the State's laws is carried out regularly, in many practical forms. Through professional training courses, communication sessions for leaders, cultural and social officials, social work collaborators of communes, towns, village heads, hamlets, and sub-areas.
According to the leaders of Da Bac district, the work of praising and promoting new factors, models and advanced examples among ethnic minorities is always given attention.
Patriotic emulation movements are always enthusiastically launched by all levels and sectors, associated with the political tasks of each unit and locality; the emulation movements always have innovations in form and content, and have received the attention and active participation of cadres, party members and ethnic minorities in the area.
The district is interested in building, discovering, fostering and expanding advanced models to create strong influence from the grassroots level, with many innovations, focusing on rewarding small groups and individuals directly working and producing, especially groups and individuals with outstanding achievements, typical individuals, good people and good deeds, etc. There were 2 groups and 11 individuals awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the first Conference to commend and honor advanced models in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Hoa Binh province in 2022.
Currently, in the district, there are 122 prestigious people recognized in the community; 116/122 prestigious people are ethnic minorities, accounting for 95%, this is the core force to convey the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the authorities at all levels.
It can be seen that the implementation of policies for prestigious people among ethnic minorities is a correct policy of the Party and the State. Thereby, it contributes to promoting the combined strength of the whole society, motivating, encouraging, and creating conditions for prestigious people to contribute to patriotic emulation movements in the locality.
At the same time, promote the role of prestigious people in carrying out ethnic work, thereby showing that prestigious people among ethnic minorities are truly an important bridge between the Party Committee, government and the people.
