On May 11, the leader of the North-South Expressway Project Management Board, Bai Vot - Ham Nghi and Ham Nghi - Vung Ang sections, said that the unit had assigned contractors to repair and adjust the shortcomings on the route to help drivers travel smoothly on the expressway.
Accordingly, the wrong direction line in Thanh Binh Thinh commune has been removed to draw a new line in the right direction for vehicles; appropriate signs have been adjusted at the intersection in Luu Vinh Son commune (Thach Ha district).

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, at the National Highway 8 intersection in Thanh Binh Thinh commune (Duc Tho district), there was a roadline in the wrong direction, causing confusion for drivers, afraid that they had driven in the wrong direction and in the wrong lane.
At the exit of the expressway with the intersection with Provincial Road 550 through Luu Vinh Son Commune (Thach Ha District), the signs point out 2 routes to Ha Tinh City 5km and Ham Nghi Street 4km long.
However, both of these routes are under construction and cannot be moved but there is no system of signs and warning lights, which can easily confuse drivers and make them enter the construction road that has not been completed.

At the intersection between the North-South expressway connection road and National Highway 8C in Cam Quan commune (Cam Xuyen district) with potential safety risks, the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway project management board has held a meeting with the Cam Quan commune government, representatives of Cam Xuyen district leaders and related units to propose solutions.
Accordingly, the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Expressway Project Management Board is considering installing an island (roundabout) here, and at the same time installing additional signs to limit speed.
