After a series of articles reflecting by Lao Dong Newspaper on the situation of soil and mud spilling causing environmental pollution, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety at the Kim Boi Commune Resettlement Area project, Phu Tho province, local authorities have intervened to inspect and request relevant units to urgently rectify.
On February 12, according to reporters' records, the project area has had clear changes. Soil and mud scattered on people's roads have been collected; the road surface has been cleaned more thoroughly than before. People's travel is basically convenient, and the dust situation has decreased significantly.

The locality has received opinions, invited contractor units to work to thoroughly understand responsibilities and request to overcome existing problems related to the environment and traffic safety. "The commune's point of view is not to cover up or condone any violations. Up to now, the existing problems have basically been resolved" - Mr. Hung said.

“We seriously receive feedback and have handled arising issues. In the coming time, the unit is committed to complying with regulations, not allowing environmental pollution to recur during construction,” Mr. Quyen affirmed.
