Exploiting acacia forest, man catches 3 wild animals

TRẦN TUẤN |

Ha Tinh - While exploiting the acacia forest for selling wood, a resident in Ky Van commune caught 3 rare wild animals.

On September 15, Ky Anh Forest Protection Department coordinated with Ky Van Commune Police to receive 2 incense sticks and 1 stink bug from Mr. Dang Van Lanh's family (residing in Dai Dong village, Ky Van commune).

After receiving the goods, the authorities handed them over to the Vu Quang National Park staff to release them back into the wild.

The two incense sticks weighing 3kg and the five-season turtle weighing 0.5kg were discovered and arrested by Mr. Lanh while exploiting the acacia forest in the area.

These 3 wild animals are all in Group IIB, the list of endangered and rare wild animals.

Recently, thanks to increased propaganda and mobilization, every time Ha Tinh people catch wild and rare animals, they quickly report and hand them over to the authorities to release them back into the wild.
